Check and make sure the circuit breaker is of the correct amps.

You have a direct short in the drier's electrical system. It will need to be checked out WITH THE POWER OFF!! A visual check on the wiring and the heating element(s) should be done first. Check for frayed wires, worn insulation, bare wires touching the shell or each other. Or have it done by a pro. Or, think about just replacing it if it is too old.

someting is shorted out inside. If it's an electric dryer it could be the main heating element.

call for a service tech. don't keep resetting the breaker.

A breaker trips for only one reason. To many amps. You obviously have an electrical issue and you need to contact an appliance repairman.

There is a "short ciruit". The electrical power is going straight to ground. It must be repaired or replaced. Unplug it and tape the plug on top so that a repairman will see it.
