Nat King Ali Johnson was the first of them - But there were black millionaires before him. Also it depends if you are counting land wealth as an asset (as we do now), or whether you are just talking about a western concept of money. All of the African Kings/ Tribal leaders would be the equivalent of millionaires many many years beforehand.

None of those.
An Irvington mansion, once home to the nation's first black millionaire, will be become a Decorator Show House in November, with public tours to raise funds for the United Negro College Fund. The mansion was home to Madam C.J. Walker, who made her fortune from a hair treatment for black women.

None of those three. If you're looking at entertainers, Lincoln Perry (AKA Stepin Fetchit), who made films in the 20s and 30s, was the first black millionaire actor.
