Need more specifics. In general it is difficult to swap a different year engine in most newer vehicles. It is actually illegal to install an older engine if emission controls are bypassed or eliminated. Ford catalytic converters and exhaust manifolds are very model and year specific. Best advice is to keep same size engine that vehicle was made with.

Assuming your truck currently has a 6cylinder in it.
You need to change:
Cooling system
Motor Mounts
Transmission bellhousing
Fuel hoses up front
Computer
exhaust
A/C system as the compressor is mounted differently and in a different place... so new lines.
That should be most of it.
