George Clinton was Vice-President under Jefferson AND Madison! But perhaps you've never heard of them, either!

No. George Clinton was Governor of New York from 1777-1795 and then later, from 1801- 1804. He took the oath of office for Vice-President in 1805.

Clinton was never Vice President so I can't really answer this question. Now Hillary has a good chance at either President or Vice President in 08.

Actually DeWitt Clinton was the Governor of New York but I don't know if it was legal at that time to hold both offices. Good question and why don't the young people know anything about history anyway?
