My husband proposed. Even though we had only been dating for one month it wasn't a surprise at all, even though it was very spontaneous. We both knew from our first date that we would be married. We'll be celebrating our ninth anniversary next month.

He proposed in 1981, after i knew him for only 3months and lived with him for only a month...it was a total shock...i said we should wait...but he wanted to get married at new year's 1982,...being young and dumb i relented...which was a mistake...and after 19 years of hell i left in 2001 with 2 kids...best thing i ever did

I'm not married but my boyfriend sometimes tells me that someday he's gonna ask me to marry him but it'll be a surprise. Hum, I would have prefered that he says nothing about it if he wants his proposal to be a surprise. Is it a way to try to keep me?

Anyways, he will most likely be the one to propose. Because as for me I don't wanna ask him to marry me. I don't care if I get married or not. I just want us to be together and to love each other for the rest of our lives.

My hubby propsed. His cousins kept asking what I would say, if one day he proposed and I told them I would say yes in a heartbeat. When he showed up in a limo and took me to an awesome resturant and them for a carriage ride, I knew he was getting ready to propose and he did and we have been married 4 years now

I'm not married, but most of the time its the guy that proposes to the lady friend, and when they go on a big fancy restaurant they usually purpose, unless its the first date

My husband, but it wasn't a shock. We had already been talking about it, and I sort of just took it for granted that we would get married.
