Isass.exe is a valid Windows process but virus writers are becoming a little cleverer (even though they suck!) at disguising viruses as windows processes.
My advice: download a decent anti-virus product (e.g. AVG 7.1 Free Edition from http://www.grisoft.com, and/or BitDefender 8 Free Edition from http://www.bitdefender.com). Before you run a complete system scan, may sure you update the programs by selecting "Check for Updates". If you've a large hard drive ithe scan could take some time, so don't just sit there wtching, make yourself a cup of coffee or watch tv or something.
Good luck!

I strongly suggest you Google for Win Task 5 Pro and use the 30 day trial version and make sure you are not tryingy to remove a valid Windows executable. This is usually a valid one. Usually the ones associated with infections are spelled slightly different ( isass.exe etc).

Description:
lsass.exe is a system process of the Microsoft Windows security mechanisms. It specifically deals with local security and login policies. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
If there is another program similar to this...just use your anti virus program to fix problems.
