I am a horror movie buff. I have many, many films. I though the grudge was not scary and the story was rather difficult to follow.
Short version - I will not watch it again!

Never saw it. But looks like the director is Japanese. The Japanese make some awesome horror flicks. It'd be worth a try.

Thought it was rather dumb myself. My grown son loved it. Of course he likes the 40 year old virign movie, so that says a lot about his movie tastes, lol.

I thought it was stupid, but everyones taste are different, you may love it!! Sorry, couldn't be more helpful. I didn't think it was all that scary, and it was kinda lame...but you should try to rent it before you buy it, easier on the check book!! :D

That one actually freaked me out pretty bad.. I couldnt go in the basement without looking over my shoulder for days...

I didn't like it, but my girlfriend loved it : she likes that kind of movies and I hate them...
check the comments on imdb.com you'll get better information than here.
