i live in san antonio texas and want to do modeling to help me with cosmetology school

You need to hire a photographer. That costs around $600 and up. Put together a portfolio, hook up with an agent an he will call you when there is a job for you. Watch out for scams because they are out there too, omg you have no idea. Also you can be a print model ( which means you can model clothing for magazines) not too hard to do. However runway mode ling quite a bit harder height 5'9 and weight well, I am not certain.

spend some $ to take some makeover portfolio. Go to those makeover studio, they do make up for u, tell you how to pose and take shots at different angle to bring out the best of you. Call up modelling agency for an appointment, bring the portfolio with you. Before the appointment, get lotsa sleep, drink lotsa water to make your skin look the best. And you will be on your way to the modelling world. Good Luck.

I've seen in the malls a lot of posts with a big sign of modeling and acting, also in the phone book, or go to yahoo.com type modeling and acting, pick the one you think has the most interesting points, I recommend you that you don't go further than page 3 because then, is not about modeling anymore !

Go to NY and make appointments with modeling agencies. It helps to have a portfolio.
Big tip:
NEVER give anyone money. If someone says, I can help you model or get you into modeling if you give me $150. Don't listen to them! I REAL agency WILL NOT ask you for money. If they like you, they will invest in you and get you jobs.

I wish you luck , but let me tell you modeling is deffanatly not an easy task to overcome. They are very strict with height, weight and several other factor's. If you feel you would make it in the modeling world , I say give it your best shot , the worse they can say is you did'nt make it , but atleast you tried .

you need to take a headshot and a full shot of yourself. Send it to agencies in S.A. They will help you get some jobs.

try catalog books this is a great way to begin then send that to a fashion magazine !
