Many people do not get their periods when they take the depo shot. I don't and I love it. It is very unlikely that you would get pregnant unless you don't go to the doctor on your scheduled dates. If you are worried, then call the doctor. I'm sure that they would do a test.

The point of depo is NOT to stop your period. If you bleed that does NOT mean that your dose is not strong enough. If your gyn is telling you this, then YOU need to find a new one. That is crazy.

the shot can mess up your cycle. when you got the shot it restarted your 28 day cycle. so it may be awhile before you get your period. be happy! you skipped a period!
