I couldn't tell you if its a good song without the instrumental but purely lyrically you write like a 4th grader. "Oh baby baby" How cliche, those words are so meaningless. It's just not my style at all. Maybe if the music behind it is good enough it could work but I'm betting that you just strum 4 or 5, major or minor, open and/or barr chords, on an acoustic guitar. So there's your answer: no, it's not very good. Let me know if I assumed incorrectly though. If you can provide music that works I will be glad to change my opinion. But this is an honest reaction. I hope you appreciate constructive criticism. Oh I just saw that you said "rock/alternative" that means power chords. :( parellel 5ths. ugh. "music" yea right.

I wonder what kind of message this type of sad song sends to young girls who think they need to be in a relationship to be happy.
I prefer songs that empower women personally. I am not single or bitter either. I am in a happy long-term relationship, but I could be happy if I were single as well.

Sounds pretty good. Way too many Oh baby, babies though. I couldn't help but think about Brittany's "hit me baby one more time" when I read it, because of all the Oh baby babies! Other than that it was cool.

no offence but its a bit samish and boring. try thinking of a song thats not to do with heartbreak. and dont use baby baby, its just a pointless filler.

it's a nice song. i wonder, tho, why we want to give kids the message that they can't live without the love of another or why we want to teach them that one person is all they'll ever need.
