I was randomly placed in a University apartment complex with two football players. The one, we'll call Adam, for some reason hates me/my girlfriend. I heard this from a mutual friend of mine and the 4th apartmentmate. Last night my girlfriend went the bathroom (right next to my room) and when she returned to my room a glass beer bottle shattered on my bedroom door (the two football players and 4 of their friends have been drinking in the living room). I open the door and the nicer of the two football players is cleaning it up. I ask what's going on and he says it was an accident. That night they threw quarters, and later a dart at the door before leaving around midnight for the bars.

What should I do? Confront/talk to them? I don't think it will do any good, Adam is set in his ways, is used to doing what he wants (hes the quarterback). Report them? I'm afriad then they'll hate me more and cause more tension/violence. Move out? Then they win, and its a hassle for me.

They're jealous because you're getting sex and they aren't. This is not going to get better, only worse. You're not less of a man to exit this violent situation, and you want to protect your girlfriend from any harm they might want to do to her, because they can't have her. You have a hassle on your hands right now, just living in this hostile situation. It's a lesser hassle just to move.

It is always better to try and talk with them before taking other measures in a situation. But if you feel uncomfortable doing that then have a good friend around when doing it or go to the police for help. Remember calling the police may only make him madder and the situation could become worst. You know this guy so do what you feel is best.

i can in basic terms desire you punched your roommate, a minimum of! i might call the law enforcement officers inspite of the money situation, he abused an enormously susceptible animal left in his care, and then in truth left it the place it fell to die. He could be locked away for a protracted time and nevertheless paying his 0.5 of the hire besides as any vet costs. i do no longer know what I"d do to your cat, i'm no longer able to think of a cat recuperating from those injuries yet while she does then she's have been given an amazingly committed proprietor! i'm easily *mentally* advocating the "eye for an eye fixed" rule right here...kick him so complicated that he is going blind, supply him a huge an infection, and wreck his decrease jaw, and pass away him for lifeless for a pair days. it rather is circumstances like those that make me desire we nevertheless lived under those regulations each and every so often. Edit: i'm so sorry that your kitten could no longer get better, it rather is one in each and every of those complicated end for a cat that overcame previous abuse subjects to die on the hands of yet another abuser! i'm happy you made the humane determination in spite of the undeniable fact that, and that i desire your ex-roomie gets a protracted penitentiary sentence. possibly if his cost is study out, the rather some different inmates will return the choose!

I think you have no choice but to talk to him. Just say to him that you don't mind him having a good time and everything but he's got to have respect for the fact that someone else does live with him. If that fails just try talking to someone in charge (don't report them)...just ask for advise on the situation.
I hope things work out for you because I would hate to live in that kind of situation.

Are they able to randomly place you elsewhere? You don't need to make it look like they won and you're running away, but you could present it as such... "The complex had some scheduling changes to make since some people were assigned to incorrect aparments so now I have to move." If you make it sound like you're not happy about the move... it may never appear as though the "bully" won.
