I know that girls in magazines and porn all shave their area...do regular everyday people do that too or is having a hairy area something that is thought to be disgusting?

I'm not going to disclose my preference but it depends on what you like or your partner. But no matter what...if you do want to keep it hairy down there then at least keep it neat and tidy with a wax and a trim every so often.
Girls in magazines and porn shave because you can see more then for the cameras.

My husband likes it when I do not shave, but I hate it. I find myself disgusting when I'm not nice and smooth, so I rarely cave and let it grow. Most of the time, I wax.
Women who work out a lot or who wear uniforms or special clothing for an extended period of time might find it a lot more comfortable to shave or wax because it feels nicer.
Also, oral sex is much better without hair.
However, there is people who like muffs. To each its own.

Normal or disgusting? That's a pretty stark choice... Hairy is how you are naturally, so it is self-evidently _normal_. It's a personal choice, but I doesn't seem very healthy to consider the natural state of your body as "disgusting." I wax some of the time and prefer it because it heightens my sexual pleasure, but I go natural some of the time because keeping it smooth is such a pain (and not cheap if you wax!).

Natural is best if you keep clean. I understand trimming for bikinis etc. but shaving just looks wrong.
I think it detracts from the beauty of a woman's body if she shaves. Especially for women with darker hair, it always looks like there is 5 o'clock shadow. If its grows back its stubbly at first and uncomfortable to touch or feel.
It makes a woman look like a pre-pubescent and I am not into pedophilia.

A little hair above the vagina is ok but when I'm eating vagina I like a nice clean area. I also shave my wang area smooth and the ladies love it as well when they are eating my sausage! It does make sex much better!

I vote disgusting. I shave mine every day, whether I really need to or not. Hair down there really bothers me. Shaving has lots of advantages: cooler, more comfortable, more hygienic, and guys love giving oral to girls who don't have a jungle down there.

a shaved puss is alot better than a hairy one because for one thing u can see what your doing, whatever it may be. it might be normal for some gals..... but not disgusting, just alot better for certain things.
