My lmp was 8/5 . My temps went from 97.12 to 96.99 on 8/17 to 97.32 on 8/19. Is my temp too low to have ovulated ? When does my fertile period end?

they have out a ovulation monitor right close to ept test in drug stores i have NOT tried them but u might want to i don't keep track of my temp etc i just put it in god's hands esp since lost a baby last year, of course we were together 8 months with no protection when we concieved, been together a total of 5 yrs married 1 yr. it happens in god's timing

Personally i think your temp is too low to ovulate. Before ovulation...some women do report having a dramatic decrease before going up. so 96.99 to the 97.32 could mean you ovulated on 19th. OR just as easily it could be a wrong reading from a bad night sleep or sickness?? What does your temp read now...your temp should remain high until your next period and drop. My normal basal is 97.3-6. Ovulation is 98.3-4. You could see another decrease 5 to 9 days after ovulation which could be implantation, which only last one day then the temp goes right back up. If you start your period at the same temp as 97.32...would make me wonder if you released an egg. Get your hormone levels checked by blood work at your ob's office. Usualy done at day 21 of your cycle. since your period starts later...usually means you ovulated later. You start your period 12 to 16 days AFTER ovulation. Figuring this pattern out takes months of tracking. but after a while you will understand it and will be prepared.n Good luck

Ive never had any luck doing basal temp...Id suggest buying the Clear Blue easy monitor...Its a little expensive, but it keeps track of your high days and peak days...Its really easy and no guessing...Your fertile period is probably 8/16-8/21, depending on how long your cycle is..To be safe why dont u start having sex day 10 of your cyle to day 18 every other day...Good luck
Days 14, 15, and 16 are probably your most fertile days...

Your fertile period ends when you finish menopause! You can still get pg even during menopause...it's not until the ovaries completely stop functioning that the risk of pregnancy stops. That is post menopausal. My ex is a menopause baby!
