Hair: I have shortish hair, but not too short at all. My bangs reach the top of my eyebrows. I have sideswept bangs. My hair isn't super straight but I keep the waves out of it with a blowdryer and hairspray.

Lol the cargos are a light brown/khaki color.

i'm thinking of wearing some medium wash ae bootcut jeans instead
they might go better. plus a white ae belt.

Sounds like a very nice combo especially the light blue polo your going to be really sharp (i hope you have more outfits people make such a big deal out of the 1st day of school but you must be sharp at least the first 2 weeks of school also) heres a tip when i was in high school i use to keep a outfit journal, i know it may sound dumb but believe or not people are watching what your wearing (especially in high school) and this is an easy way to keep track

Sounds Great only...You did not state what COLOR the BootCut Cargos were? So I hope they are not in clash with the brown or light blue of your POLO...but if it all says AE then you should be ok as American Eagle Outfitters has great stuff to wear for guys.
Don't know if you're in High school or what, but...make sure you have your school supplies ok? Looking good is one thing but you won't be as impressive without those basic supplies.

First of all, why do you try to get the wave out of it? Girls love guys w/ wavy hair . . .(lol)
Anyway, the top sounds great (LOVE American Eagle . . . and polos).
I couldn't really imagine the pants, so I looked them up on AE. Are these them?

If so, I'm not so sure about the pants. Plus, since we're just getting out of summer, some slightly more casual cargo shorts might be more appropriate.

Go with the jeans, they will look casual. In my opinion jeans look great with polo's. But watch out jeans w/ polo's are a typical first day of school outfit for boys.

Everything sounds great but r u sure about the skater shoes? I mean, if you're a skater then they're cool...but if you're not you might send a "wannabe" first impression.

Get rid of the hairspray... and the blowdryer. Natural is much better. The clothes...good choice.
