The elf is bigger as they originally come from Nordic mythology - basicaly they live on several planes of the world tree and are tall and pale skinned (except svartalf who are jet black skinned).
Leprachauns are also refered to as "the little folk" because they are smaller than humans.

the ones i have seen ummm
well same size that one leprachaun with the limp was a weee smaller that the elf I could send them by to see you and then you can see for your self :)

i do hope you are taking the elf inch as you unit of measurement, otherwise the playing field would not be level., for your survey, and information there are 144 elf inches to a foot, 7 feet to a yard. we have not introduced the metric inch that wont come into effect until 2056, march i think. regards LF (LITTLE FICKER)
