Actually there are lots of them out there that are legitimate. What the site or emailer won't say is that the information on getting it is free by law. But if you don't have a lot of time, maybe a reasonable amount to pay for someone else doing the research for you is not that bad?

You can't "claim" a grant. You have to apply and have it be awarded.
