they are all types of files. gif and jpg (jpeg) are the ones you normally see. png is a file specifically set up for PCs

All three are different formats in which pictures can be stored. All three are usable with any email program for mailing pictures. Most programs that allow you to see or browse picture should be able to use all three formats.

use jpeg it is more universal
