Thanks for the replies.

I believe that Knight (a heart patient) was scheduled to give a speech about medication he is currently using. He committed to this speech over a year ago.

He's the head coach for Team USA, the Olympic qualifying team, and they're in a warmup tournament just before the Olympic qualifying tournament. So he's busy.

He's the Team USA Coach. Mazzilli & Allen have are coaches, Gooden's is in the BigHouse. Knight was the only one who declined without a public reason.

I see you've got your answer, but I just wanted to add that it was a really special evening last night at Shea. Those uniforms were really ugly, but it was great to see them again on the latest edition Mets.
