I need to upgrade my PC from 1GB to 2GB or Ram but im not sure what type or RAM I have. There are 2 stick of 512 DDR Ram in my pc but im not sure what type. I dont kow what my mother board is either.

Mrresearchman has it right. www.crucial.com. However, you might want to run the scan(it's safe) Also, I'd go with the low.(Pc 2700,Pc3200) You can use the higher, but it will only work at the set speed of you motherboard.

take out the two RAM stick and look what it says on the side or take it to a store and they can tell you.

You have a program in your comp that actually does it (if u use windows) go to system32 and find DXDiag go to help and to MSInfo ull find it there
