I just dealt with this situation. My friend is an extreme Drama Queen. She causes so many problems in her life. Ex: Last year her husband was helping remodel our house, she accused he & I of sleeping together during that time, nevermind that my husband was with us the WHOLE time and I am happily married. Plus, her hubby is NOT my type. Well, this crap just popped back up again cuz she has created many problems again & her husband just left her. My hubby & I say good for him & we know he'll find another woman soon who'll make him happy cuz he's a good guy. I say bye bye to her cuz she is just a train wreck waiting to happen every day & she drags everyone down into it.
Stop putting up with the nonsense. Friends shouldn't be people that give us headaches, they should offer us tylenol when we have one from dealing with all the morons out there we have to deal with everyday at work, school, etc...

I would question if it was a real friendship. It is interesting how givers and takers tend to wind up linked to one another...I guess because they complement each other...until the giver is burnt out and the taker finds out there's no amount of giving that will satisfy.

A true friendship is mutually beneficial. So if you find yourself giving and giving and giving to the relationship and all you're getting back is either "nonsense" or "nothing back", at that point you just need to distance yourself from that person. You owe it to yourself to surround yourself with nurturers, supporters, and people who are not afraid to be transparent, vulnerable, and real when they need the same from you.

It is better to be friend with oneself instead of compromising your standards. Nice pictures on your site too.
