For me it has to be the exorcist. For the time that it was made it made so many people not want to sleep in the dark. I know a friend of mine slept on the couch near her parents room for a year after seeing that movie. My children say that it is a messed up movie but for them it would be a different one

I have yet to see the Exorcist or Amitiville Horror, so it would have to be the Grudge, from all the 'jumping out' parts.
