then why oppose bush on wiring up america with a cia/federal marshall on every street corner tapping phones. faxs, internet, voice, photographing every room of you house including your bathrooms, showers, and bedrooms, and video capture every inch of your city, and why not your job, any public event you attend, why not your schools for your children, why not have federal officers patroling schools with high tech watching....I mean we are beggin bush to do it, he said so

if you have nothing to hide why ***** about a real-id card that constantly phones home where you are and has all knowm information about you on one card? Who needs it more, your or the illegals?

Are we hippocrites? Why can't we give up any and all rights to Bush so he can be the one responsible to protect us? Has he ever ignored anyone, say, on the Mexican border to either back up law enforcement or turned his head as Americans get killed? Don't you trust your government to save you?

I envision one day goverment taking over from dating companies with all the knowledge they will have about you and assigning you who to marry so the divorce rates are all but gone. If we had the benefit of low divorce rates, wouldn't we be insane not to give the government those rights too?

Geez listen to your elected leaders people - your better off without rights than with them. Get with the program!

The day is going to come when it's not your life anymore, it belongs to the government.

Resistance is futile.

If you have nothing to hide, why tolerate illegal conduct? That's one of the most ridiculous arguments I've heard to date.

Let me give you an analogy. A total stranger breaks into your home, sits down on your couch, and starts watching your TV. If you don't have anything to hide, why should that bother you. Just because it's criminal shouldn't matter if no actual harm is done.

Or another analogy. You have some tools in your garage that you haven't used in years, and don't plan on using again. A stranger breaks into your garage and takes those tools. You're not using them, so no harm done. Just because it's criminal shouldn't matter, right?

Or another. A person orders child pornography magazines from another country. The magazines are very old. The children pictured in them died 50 years ago. The person just sits in their home and fantasizes about having sex with children, but never is in the presence of any living child. They've hurt nobody, so no harm done, right?

One more. A person sneaks into the US. They don't tell the INS they're here. They get a job, pay all their taxes, pay rent, and otherwise live their life without anyone knowing they're an illegal alien. So what's the problem. Just because it's criminal shouldn't matter if no actual harm is done.

That's the point about the warrantless wiretapping. It's illegal. It is a willful violation of federal law.

So, why do people who are so opposed to other illegal activity think it's OK for our own elected officials, especially those who have sworn an oath to uphold the law, to break the law without being held accountable for their actions under the law.

Because someday Bush is not going to be president. Would you want Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Rudy Gulliani, or some other politician having the same kind of powers that President Bush has?

The point is that you cannot give a leader, decider, president, absolute power in a democracy. A president with absolute power is a dictator or king or decider. "We the people" is the government not some boogie man out to get you.

If you watch only one conspiracy documentary ever, make it this one. This just might be the best introductory video out there. Understand that every claim made in this is fact, not opinion, no matter how wild it sounds. It's all easily verifiable through mainstream news archives and public documents.

You've finally seen the light. Oh, and we already have an ID card--the Social Security Card and the number that goes with it.

Sounds like communism to me. If that's what you desire, move to Cuba or China.
An ID card. Can those too be stolen? Or do we get them in our hands or foreheads...Oh no! That sounds like the mark of the beast!!!
