dear folks, i asked how to run a.v.i. and i got a host of answers,thank you all, cause i am not to good on compts, couldnt get avi to play,well i found out why, go to file-tools-plug ins-options-file types-and then select all. "hey presto"! ..... for all u geeks who already know this-well i didnt,but i know now, i hope this info helps some other dope like me. I is gettin smarter by the day--hehe hehe! adios mi amigos.

In limewire i think you can't play Avi Files! Avi is special type of Video File but can be played by most of Media players including windwos Media Player too (10.0+) i don't know whethere Wmplayer 9.0 can play avi files or not lots of other Players supports Avi files just check properties of that File and Change opens with to your Media player and Play the File

DO NOT USE LIME WIRE.
It is FULL of viruses, I know this because when I used it it filled my computer with viruses and i had to pay someone 30 pounds to free mine.
DO NOT USE.
USE ARES GALAXY ( HERE IS THE SITE: www.aresgalaxy.org ) this one is 100% safe.
