There are two main insect repellant/killers: one is pybuthrin, extracted from the African pyrethum plant and is relatively harmless-
COMPARED WITH chloro-thio-phosphate based materials, related to eg, phosgene, the WW1 poison gas, that are associated with nerve damage, mutations and death.
You don't want to be in prolonged contact with any chemical that has a repellant/toxic effect on any animal, no matter how safe the makers claim it is!
They're only after your money and will tell you anything to get it.
