Okay- you have too much on your plate! Give yourself a break and figure out top priority- how old are your kids? If they are young, being their MOM should be #1. Put school for you on the list for "later in life"- I'd recommend THAT anyway - being a Mom is the MOST important job in the world! With your husband deployed, the kids already have alot of stuff to face and they need YOU to hold down the fort- so does your husband! You'll feel more PROductive and less stressed. If need be, move in with your parents or his and let family help. You can do it! You just can't do it ALL!

It sounds like you may have a little too much on your plate right now. Is there anyway that you could slow down a bit - maybe wait to continue your education until your husband gets back? I know that may not be the encouragement you were hoping for, but I don't know how in the world you could keep all those balls in the air for very long - no wonder you're overwhelmed! :)

Have you spoken to anyone at the Fleet and Family Service Center? They can certainly help you out. AND, did you know that there are many grants and scholarships that are available to military spouses? That might help relieve some of the financial burden.
Keep your chin up, you're doing great. You're holding down the homestead while you're husband is away, you'll never know how much that means.

Take care!

First don't give up! Second, stay in school. Your education will someday be your salvation, income wise. I was married with two kids, working two jobs, in graduate school. My wife was a lazy bi*** who laid around on her a** all day, so I also fed the kids, did all the housework and cooking, grocery shopping, laundry etc. You name it, I did it. You're husband is a lucky man.

I was tired all the time and my eyes looked like two pissholes in the snow. Anyway, as soon as I graduated and found myself a good job away from her home town and parents, she didn't want to move, so I quickly divorced her and moved on.

There, I told you my woes. I hope it helped you to feel better. Best of luck!

go to your schools financial aid department. school should be free for military wives. i went to maric college (a school close to camp Pendletion) and about 1/4 of the school was military wives. they all didn't have to pay anything. if your feeling warn down, lose one of your jobs. the one that pays the least. you need to spend time with your children. right now your kids father is gone and they need you more than ever.

good luck and hope i could help.
