A teenager who was visiting from Mexico drowned in Lake Woodlands Saturday. Officials with The Woodlands fire department and the Montgomery County dive team recovered the teen's body at about 8:40 p.m.

The teen, 18, had been playing soccer with his uncle and a cousin Saturday afternoon. The ball was kicked into the lake and the teen jumped in to retrieve it.

The uncle and cousin, who do not speak English, screamed for help in Spanish. A passerby heard the screaming and jumped into the lake to help, but did not find the teen.

The teenager's name has not been released
