hi! i think that you're engaged on a funds. Assuming that you will be an favourite consumer (e mail, be conscious, excel, etc.) and also you may want to favor to acquire a cheap pc. I propose you flow on midrange mainstream equipment. I genuinely have a Dell variety D410 (circa 2006) and it truly is operating properly. seem on the Dell Inspiron line. it truly is not as extreme priced as different fashions and equipped particularly properly. i recognize because I'be been to Dell's assembly plant in Pennang, Malaysia and each and every of the pc it truly is distributed out has undergone huge high quality controls. wish I helped a touch. Cheers.

I will say quality wise they both are good but sony have better construction of the notebook and customer service.Dell will be a cheaper..Latest processor is Dual core which has two processor and lower version in single core. But out of AMD and intel AMD Athelon is better than PIII.AMD Seperon is not so good..Also check the version also..

haha sony is good dell say they have hot laptops well i guess dell are right there laptops are cooking lol
when it come's to buying a pc
you get more for your cash if you buy
a desktop pc
laptops you can have the best hard ware in them but you pay out a lot more for that
when it come's to a desktop pc
you get the very best in hardware
and you pay less then what you pay for a laptop
here check out this hp computers
desktops and laptops
your see that the
desktops are much better to have
and hp computers are really good coz you make the back up recovery cd yourself and it is easy to do all you need is 1 dvd(r) blank disk
4.7 gb ..dvd(r) disk
you make the system recover disk your self
and if you ever need to format the hard drive and re-setup that recovery disk you made will format the hard drive and set everything upfor you all the drivers & windows system back on the hard drive with 1 recover cd
you sit back and watch it re-set your pc back up for you that is what i call a system
take time to go check out the very best of computers

Dell is maybe a poor choice with those problems.

I bought an HP zv6130us. The AMD processor was part of the decision. If you buy HP be sure to get lightscribe DVD burner.

Definitely Dell. Sony sells the name, their computers are often poorly assembled.

I would get an Intel sony vio. I've had trouble with dell labtops and their support is horrible.

I like Dell Intel

IBM LenovoThinkpad
Intel for the laptop
unless you plan to run games then I would go for Alienware and AMD.
Looks like you've gotten some womens point of view also...I bet you did not count on that!
