Sorry for text languge in question.
I've been friends with this girl for 15 years people always said we should get together but we did not. She met this sh.. head and had a child with him but he beat her and did not let her see friends. I was not around for a couple of years but on returning I saw what was going on and convinced her to get out from the relationship.
Our friendship got back to as it used to be then one night we started kissing and well I won't go into details.
The ex found out I was seeing her and kicked door in one morning and I had to call the police. If I stay with her he will always be around because of the child but I really love her.

She needs to press charges against him. It doesn't sound to me like he needs to be allowed around the child except with supervised visitation. She can fight this. The child deserves a better life than this. You are a good guy for sticking with her and helping her. She deserves you. But, tell her she needs to press those charges and talk to a lawyer, or legal aid about this mans temper, and that the child should not be allowed to be alone with him. If he was abusive to her, who says he won't be to the child? Good Luck and all will work out

You are one screwed up idiot.

First According to your own words you broke up their marriage.

Ex finds out and breaks down door. Lucky you could have been worse to the point you would never have been able to ask any questions.

If you stay with her he will always be around because of the child.
You make sound like the child is the problem. The marriage had no problems the child had no problems the wife had no problems the husband had no problems. Then you walked in.

Leave her. She does not need you in here life. You are not good enough.

Yes i know this scenerio quite well... At least my lady keeps her's calm.. Just have to decide if she is worth the turmoil man. Always having to look over your shoulder. Then again if you leave her who's to say he still isn't going to come after you. Sorry don't mean to give you a bleak outlook but it's true. Best thing to hope for is maybe he will get hit by a bus.. Good luck stay safe.

He sounds like a dangerous stalker. He might take his rage out on his kid, so I would go to court and only let him have visitation with others present. Demand it. The cops should back you up on this one. And before you go to court, let the child welfare people know what's going down. Maybe they can show up and testify on your behalf. Call the mental health people and see if they have any suggestions. A protection from abuse order wouldn't hurt either. Good luck.

Been there, done that. Restraining order. Tape phone calls, take pictures when he comes by uninvited. Take it to the cops. Keep pressuring the cops as long as he keeps it up. Eventually they will either put the fear of God into him or arrest him. Some time in the slammer may make him back off.

If you really love the girl then you should stick around. As for the guy she needs to get a restraining order against him. Maybe she should change her number so that he can't call her
