Hrm. What year was the Jetson's set in? I think they need to first solve the issue of people setting their bums on fire from the flame spewing out of the jetpack.

Boy I hate to bring my rating down as a result of giving virtually the same answer as someone else, and since they were first, I think they deserve the right answer. I am talking about Mike S. His answer is correct. There are Jet packs in service now, in fact they just made some very important improvements, that extend it's flight remarkably. However, cost is very high, and the average person can not afford them.
There is a flying chute, and it has the ability to fly almost with same maneuverability as you want, and the best thing about this is some can be had for under $3,000. I will include some links so you can pick and choose your own favorite. And I will include a Wikipedia entry on the subject, although, in some instances Wikipedia is unreliable, so that link is offered with the caution that people can go in there and wreck a definition, or it can change with political tides, therefore Wikipedia is not always going to be a good reference.

I thought at first you were wondering about us flying as a result of evolution... it's possible, I suppose. As for the personal jetpack, I can remember this being tested when I was a kid... you'd think we'd have it already, right? Maybe it's just too dangerous at this point... I guess when the bugs get worked out and it becomes safe and nearly foolproof, we might see it in the next 50 years.

Well, we will obviously never sprout wings or nething, so we cant fly all by ourselves. But sure i think in about say 50 years they can definitely come up with a jetpack that would allow us to fly, that shouldnt be so difficult......but i guess factors such as maintaining the body temperature and pressure at higher altitudes and other physical factors would cause problems. So cant expect that in the near future...but u never know

in the event that they lived in a gravity container that good and survived the only thank you to do it might to be to adapt over generations to evolve. If people went with the aid of a million era adapting in a different way than something of the human species (on earth) they might evolve right into a thoroughly new form of human, truthfully starting to be a sparkling NON human, species. whether the recent species became into able to "fly" on earth, it would not be a human flying. under that lots gravity the only shape a being might have may well be slug like, or jello, or perhaps organic liquid. i do no longer think of those have lots of of venture of flying on their very own. people do fly by skill of how. we did make airplanes, helicopters, and jet packs
