Last week I attened a job fair.I noticed about 12 other older people there . We all were interviewed and at the end of the day we knew if we were hired. No older person got a job. I was not hired because of health problems. Two of the people had masters degrees in education. The were looking for part time work because their retirement was not enought. I was looking for part time work to take my time. All we seniors ask is give us respect & a chance. You too my learn from us.

I totally agree with you. The employers are looking for those that will be around and able to work the long hours though.

And your question? "Give us a chance" is a plea, not a viable question.

You should be asking the employer, not a group of individuals trying to shed some knowledge to the many great questions out there.

Peace.
