Are you kidding? Let me put it this way. How would you like if you had to have brain surgery, and the doctor who was going to operate on you said something like, "By the way, I never actually took the classes in my last semester. My roommate committed suicide, and they gave me A's in them all. ...but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express, last night!"

It's a Myth, what if that roommate was a friend or a hated person still with the death of he or she will be in your thoughts. Which is tough to deal with within the weeks of the death. Another thing is in religions suidcide is a sin.

In most colleges it's in the guidelines that if you're roommate commits suicide, you can pass for the semester, or get an extension to finish. I don't think anyone has an A+ policy, but they will try to accomodate you.
