Some kids across my block use the phrase "I less than three you/ya!", and I have absolutly no idea what it means. Can anybody explain this phrase to me?

haha, well i'm sixteen, and haven't heard that phrase. how old are the kids saying it?

kids and their fads, seriously. Actually, I try not to concern myself with all the little 'cool' things that come and go. It's pointless, and laughable haha.

Wait, you wanted to know what the phrase means.. hmm.. i'm off to urbanddictionary.com to see if it's on there. brb (check this answer again in a few minutes.)...

Ah, never mind, it seems it's already been answered :D.

Well this answer was pointless and random, my bad man..

It comes from chatspeak, when you make a sideways heart by using the "less than" sign (this: <) and the number three. It looks like this : <3 So online, it would be "I <3 you," and became in speech "I less than three you."

Online hearts are made of the less than sign and the number three: <3. So they are really saying, "I love you!"

I <3 you. (I heart/love you.) My son told me, because it looks like a heart.
