Of course! As long as that's what both want, if one wants more then it's obviously not going to work. But if both parties feel just the friendship part of it, it should be great to be just friends. If the boy/girl is an ex, it more than likely would not work because there is history between the two.

Yes they can be just friends. Girls and boys aren't always going to be atrracted to one another so they just become friends. Which is a great thing because having a girl or boy as a friend both has its advantages and positive ways.

For a short time yes but I don't think it would last long. Once one of them gets a lover then things will change and it'll get wired.
As for older people who are married they shouldn't have close friends of the opposite sex because it leads to temptation.

Predictably, maximum persons have spoke back 'pals'. is wise, would not it? your persons were there for you through thick and skinny. you comprehend they have faults, yet you're in a sturdy position with that, because it truly is what makes them who they're. the problem is, they continuously come a unfavourable 2d to the different 0.5. as an party, a sturdy pal of mine has basically blown me off so he might want to be with some date. that couldn't sound like a lot, yet i have considered this take position all too many situations previously. yet another pal of mine did an same aspect, back and back. Now he's engaged to this oh-so-significant lady. while very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days we used to carry close round for beverages/cinema/video games of pool, now I slightly listen from him. an same aspect's going to take position to pal #a million - heritage repeating itself, and all that. yet another pal lost to a woman. it really is an uncomfortable reality, even with the undeniable fact that the better 0.5 receives further and extra skill because the relationship 'solidifies'. casual dates change into needed workouts. previously you comprehend it, you've drifted faraway from all those those who were once element of your existence. If the relationship works out, tremendous, yet when it would not...properly, to whom will you turn? I gained't furnish suggestion, because i have no. All i comprehend is that you won't be able to believe everybody, no longer even your stunning friends. even with the undeniable fact that, they do say that in case you may' beat 'em, connect 'em. With that in concepts, i'm off to affix all the different unfavourable saps in the absurd yet inevitable sport of love. desire me success...i will want it.

The only time I ever witnessed a male/female friendship where one party or the other didn't have a sexual attraction for the other is when something else was wrong.
Example:
One of the two is homosexual
One of the parties is depressed about something.
One of the parties has had a loss ie death, recent breakup

Sure can. I have 1 or 2 platonic friends. Great company, but could never be romantically involved with them.
