hi m8 cc means Cubic centimeters. It's a measure of displacement (displacement is "bore X stoke" or the size of the cylinder times the distance the piston travels in the cylinder) The larger the bore and the stroke the greater the displacement.
1000 cc = 1 liter
1500 cc = 1.5 liter
500 cc = .5 liter
is dat alright

It is the cubic centimeter displacement (volume) of the cylinder, or total of two or more cylinders. American made motors are measured in cubic inches, like the Harley Davidson 88 cubic inch would be roughly the same size as a 1500cc (Japanese) bike.
Most cars are measured in liters, but the American cars will usu. also give you the c.i. (cubic inch) as well because that is what we are use to I guess. A file liter Mustang (5.0) would be a 302, a Corvette could be the 5.7 or 350, etc. Old Volkswagen's used cc's to distinguish their engines as well, for another example.

cubic centimetre, as the colloquial (unofficial) volumetric abbreviations cc, or cc. meaning cubic centimeters.
While once very common usage in English, for instance in the context of referring to the size of a combustion chamber in an internal combustion engine, the official SI abbreviation cm³ is preferred.
The cubic centimetre is exactly equivalent to a 1/1000 litre milliliter (ml). (also referred to as a mil)

CC = cubic centimeters just like car engines use liters to measure engine size.

"cc" refers to the displacement of the engine, or the cylinder size, to be simpler. It means "cubic centimeter". Cars are measured in cubic inches, for a comparison.
