LOL.....I am going to be induced tomorrow at 7:00 am.....I was just wondering, what would you be doing the day before? I am cleaning everything, making sure I have everything in my hospital bag, confirming my daughters babysitter for the big event.....what else could I do? I know I won't be able to sleep for sure tonight.

I would probably start asking questions. Like, why am I pregnant?

My mother says its good to go for a walk but a long walk maybe 30-45 minutes, doing this will help the baby accommodate itself so when you go into labor it comes out straight/better (don't really know whats the better word). This has worked in my family every time they're about to give birth. Also stay relaxed because tomorrow will be a day you will never forget and from now on your life will never be the same- having a baby changes everything !!!! GOOD LUCK and may God bless you with a beautiful healthy baby!!!

** the whole cleaning things is a good idea too since you won't do cleaning for a while**
**also pack food and try to sleep so you can feel with energy the next day**

I did everything you have done but also prepeared some meals that could easily be heated up in the microwave for my hubby and other kids while I was in the hospital. I also hung out the clothes for my daughters to wear the next few days in outfits so I didn't have to worry about him "matching" clothes. Then I went to the video store got a few movies and crashed watching movies and eating and resting up for the big event. Before I went to bed that night I spent the time playing with my daughters and giving them some one on one time that I knew would be hard to do with a new born around. Last before walked out the door I made lists and put them on the fridge of anything going on, phone numbers hubby might need etc. Good luck to you and congrats on the new baby

Your right on track get those last min things arranged. Try your best to sleep you will need the strength 4 the birth. Get any last min thing you might need. I always made sure to pack my own shampoo soap and stuff the stuff at the hospital SUCKS. Pack snacks 4 after the Birth you get very hungry and you might be alone and not able to walk to a vending machine make sure you have some snacks packed. I BET YOUR EXCITED i'm only 21 weeks i can't wait till the BIG DAY!

Think about the things you're not going to be able or feel like doing in the next week. Cook stuff and freeze or refrigerate it so you won't need to worry about that. Make a list for household tasks that need to be performed -- sometimes husbands would do more around the house, they just don't have a clue what needs to be done or they just need the friendly reminder.

Congratulations, you may not make it until tomorrow. A lot of women get a burst of energy right before going into labor. They start cleaning and everything it sounds like you are doing. I would take a nap eat a banana split and kick my feet up, read a book or just watch TV.

I would EAT! When I realized that I was going to give birth that day (baby knicked the placenta with her fingernails and I was leaking), I had my husband take me to Baskin Robbins for a smoothie. I was glad I did, because that was the last thing I ate until the baby was delivered. That is a long time to go without food considering all the physical exertion.

My husband and I stayed up far too late. First we fought, then we watched our favorite episode of King of the Hill. Then we laughed and talked. It was about 2 when I went to bed. I had to be at the hospital at 5:30.

That was when our second was born.

RELAX!!!!!
put your feet up, order some takeout and pop in a movie. you have a busy day tormorrow and the more rested you are, the better it will be.
Oh.... and, if you can, make sure your husband (or boyfriend) is *satisfied* (wink, wink) because it will be a while before you will feel like doing ANYTHING again :)
good luck tomorrow...
