Black Pearl - both were really good but I think the first one was a little funnier and also creepier than Dead Man's Chest. Plus I didn't like the whole Jack/Elizabeth thing in the second one.

POTC: The Curse of the Black Pearl was a far superior film(plot). POTC 2: Dead Man's Chest, some of the acting and the vast majority of the plot was not very good. Johnny Depp and Keira Knightly did great jobs but the script wasn't very good.

Dead Man's Chest had a great ending, but Black Pearl had your interest from start to finish.

I'd have to say Dead Man's Chest cause it's way better than the first! The first half of it is all comedy and the second half is all action! I mean in the first movie, it was comedy by Johnny Depp, seriousness, learn about the past and thats about it so I'd say the second one is better!

They are both wonderful - but the Black Pearl rates just higher for me.

Curse of the Black Pearl. I don't know why, but I just found DMC to be too.....fantasy for me.

The Curse of the Black Pearl is my fav. movie of ALLLL time!!!!
but dead man's chest was really good for a sequel!!!!!
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 3RD ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
