I DONT WANT TO SMOKE POT! jeez im only 13, why would I want to throw my life away? I'm asking because my dad recently moved there and he's an addict..

it is legal to posses up to an ounce but it is only legal in the Denver city limits the catch 22 is that you cannot smoke it you can only possess it which means you can still get ticketed for possessing paraphernalia or in serious trouble for actually getting caught smoking it.

Possession of 1 oz of pot is legal within the city limits of Denver. However, it is still legal in the state of Colorado. So, don't get busted by a state trooper, and don't have more than an ounce.

Denver is a very strange city. It voted to legalize pot, up to 1 ounce. Yes, it is legal. It is the only city in the USA that has legalized pot.
