One would not encourage women to let one rip in public, one does have taste, I'll have you know. When my husband is out walking with the dogs round the palace grounds, he always let it rip and blames it on the corgies, disgusting, outrageous behaviour. As my Great Grandmother would say, I am not amused, now run along and do something positive with ones life, or I'll have locked up in the tower, you, you, little upstart!

Because we get looked at as though we are dirty freaks whilst when men fart in public everyone laughs along like its one big joke

Because it is disgusting, vulgar, repulsive, gross, and there is no reason why a person cannot excuse themselves and go into the bathroom to relieve that air. I don't know why that would be such a hard thing for men to do, but they seem to be lazy and enjoy grossing people out with their body functions.

I think there is nothing better than to fart in the presence of others. It is simply a waste if yr on your own....
