No it is not normal to have 2 periods in one month.

It is normal to have some spotting at various points in your cycle. Is it possible that one of these periods was only some spotting?

Unless you have any other reason to be concerned, I would just wait it out and see if you return to your normal cycle. If you have never had a normal pattern to your cycle, then I would suggest checking in with a gyno just for your own peace of mind.

Yes. and at least once a year you WILL have 2 in one month.
Our bodies are on a 28 to 30 day schedule. 7 months have 31 days in them and 5 have 30. Only one has 28 days. If you are like most women with a 28 day schedule, your period will arrive 2 or 3 days earlier each month. Start dates for 28 days cycle example. Jan 1, Jan 29, Feb 26, Mar 26, April 23, May 21, June18, July 16, August 13, Sept 10, Oct 8, Nov 5, Dec 3, Dec 31. So you will have 2 periods in January and 2 in December.

Sure, you could have a 24 day cycle. Even a 28 day cycle will eventually catch you twice in a month.
