Agreed, I am not Muslim, but I do respect other people's tradtions. However, I understand the difficulty that a young girl would have trying to fit in somewhere where that was atypical. Culture is important, but so is someone's personal levels of confidence or depression. I respect the dress, but I wouldnt expect the women that have to wear it to neccessarily like it. But if it is fine with them, then its fine with me.

I am not sure if you are looking for a "male " to answer this one, but here is my two cents. I am a Jewish female, not that that matters but I love traditional clothing and when I see someone wearing ethnic wear I am almost jealous. I think if I were to wear something like that I would look out of place. But I do love it..

Of course, you've a reason for wearing it - whether cultural or religious. Since you're convinced by the tenets of your religion, then, you should abide by its dress code as well.

i didn't like the hijab. But its what you had to wear. What do you wear now pants and a t shirt. What do you like better

I think they don't want the guys to see u and for that I think they suck. If you don't like it choose what ever you like to do and to wear.

i think its really nice and a good way to show that u still beleive and follow ur culture,,but 1thing..y do u say i "used to" wear ?y arent u wearing it now..
