There's ebay and there's always a good old-fashioned car boot sale.
Or what about a shop that sells sewing materials - like Rems and Rolls? They may be able to put an ad in the window for you, since a lot of their customers actullay use sewing machines.

place an ad in the paper,
also you can talk to your sewing centre there, they might put it on display and sell it..
talk to an estate or antique store.. take a picture with you and they will let you know what's the market is like for it.

Look in the phone book for the nearest antique shop and talk to them. Get it appraised so that you know how much to sell it for.
