When you dream you are pregnant or are nursing a baby. Even though you are not pregnant or have any babies? By the way I am in my mid 20's is this cause my biological clock is ticking or is this common for women to dream this?

Only when I was pregnant did I have these sorts of dreams. I would dream about losing the baby, not being able to find the baby, etc. My doctor said these dreams are normal results of the apprehension that comes with having a baby. As for your dreams, what you suggested I think is right. Maybe your body and mind is trying to tell you it is ready to have a baby. Or, maybe you are dreaming because you want someone or something to take care of, not necessarily a child. Maybe you should think about getting a puppy or kitten to take care of, if you're not up for having a baby. Maybe the mothering side of you needs to be expressed and it doesn't know how to find an outlet for it in your waking hours.

I think it is common and normal, and shouldn't be taken too literally. Assess what ever else might have been going on in the dream besides baby stuff. You may just have a strong maternal side that will show when you have children much later. A future baby could be communicating with you also, but it doesn't mean for you to rush into having that baby now, wait untill you are financially and emotionally ready. I personally never dreamed about babies till I was actually pregnant, and I knew the sex of my kids before they were born.

You dream this either cause you're thinking about having a baby, a friend or relative just had or found out they were having a baby, or something you saw on TV. Most of the time the dreams you dream are due to what happened later on that day and stays in the back of your mind and comes out when you're asleep in your dream.

I'm 17 and I once dreamed that I had a son with my boyfriend(now ex) it was just like a fantasy I had, wanting a family with the one I love. I didn't see it as anything more than that

I've had those dreams before. I'm not nearly ready to have kids. I think that it means something different from having kids- like something bad is gonna happen.
