Its not that i could not breath, i just did not. could this have lead to my asthma, alergies, and adhd, and so on.

My son was born not breathing on his own, but since this didnt go on for too long a time, he is fine. 10 years later he has no asthma, no adhd, he is very smart in school. So i guess it depends on how long the brain is deprived of oxygen.

no baby is born breathing,airways have to be cleared and baby given a good rub and maybe some oxygen,it is ok for this to happen as the cord is still attached.if you had real problems at birth it could cause brain problems but not allergies
