Well, the crappy reality is that you are a minor and underneath their rules. You live in their house, sleep in a bed they most likely bought, and you probably eat their food.
I love the word f*ck. Its great. However, i didnt go around saying in front of my parents when i wasnt 18. Why? Because they can kick your *** and do **** like take you to therapy. :) All you can do while you are a minor is dont let them hear you saying ****.
I mean, you dont even have to say it when you arent around them. Its better to focus on better words, and gain a better vocabulary than that anyway.
If you dont want to suffer their consequences then you have to play inside their rules as long as you live there. I know thats not the answer you wanted but after years of being tormented by very conservative parents, now i am a legal adult, and in the process of moving out.
Thats the best advice i could possibly give you!

Maybe your mother is concerned with the attitude and or disrespect that went with saying the "F" word. I am a mom, and my daughter and I don't get along all the time, ugh, and we are working together on both our attitudes with a therapist who is pretty good. I do care about my two girls and want them to have a better mom than I had, so yeah, we do therapy separate and together as needed.

AHHHH!!! the beautiful, all encompassing , "F" word.
It's many uses are unrivaled.Noun,verb,adverb..., even the infamous..,
dangling participle !
Where else in society can you wax poetic and mean SO MUCH with so little.
I am from the New York area, SO , we are spoon fed and raised up understanding the complexity , yet the harmony of life,

i guess it's all how you look at it.. if my sister dropped the "F bomb" in front of my mom.. my mom would get mad.. of course.. but not too surprised.. but if i had said it she would think something was up..
also everyone says stuff like that now and keep talking like they hadnt said anything at all.. it's completely normal for most people. for some it even surprises themselves when they say it. lol.
i usually would believe by your story there's more to it but if that's all that happened then she might be overreacting. i mean putting you in therepy? i dont think that's right but i'm not saying now that your mom has no right to put a stop to it.. whatever.. that's just my opinion

lol i think the if you mom took you to therapy for that then the theapist would be doing theray on your mother for being a weird parent lol im sure the therapist yould get a kick out of this situation if you do end up going but hopefully you wont haha...sorry im laughing = [

Maybe your mom is over reacting a bit but don't pass up on the therapy. If she's paying for it, take advantage of the opportunity.

They wanna take you to therapy just because of THAT? Are you sure? lol.
Well, try to be more respectful towards them. I cuss a lot, but NEVER in front of my parents. Come to think of it, not in front of anyone in my family. To some, it's a respect issue and I have a lot of respect towards my family, so I keep all of my F's out of conversations with them. lol.
Respect them more and they'll treat you a lot better. Promise!

sounds to me like your mom doesn't want to sit down and talk with you, and actually do some parenting, but rather she wants to take you somewhere and let you be someone else's problem. You could also try this advice: don't say the F word to your mom. She obviously doesn't like it. Have some respect!

Your mom is definatly over reacting but my mom tries to take me to therepy for everything. They think your about to kill someone now because you said the f word!
