The only silverware I have is silver. It is a really nice set, but I use it for everything. It is a set from the 1920's/30's. Should I be using something else for everyday, or is pretty durable and ok to use?

if you like it, use it. You don't need to waste your money on another set.

i mean live well enjoy your silver.I mean up to this point you have been using it . but if you want to put a traditional feel to your silver.stop using it immediately take every piece shine it to perfection put it in a special case. and buy some forks, knives, and spoons at target or whatever store and your done. then you can take out your good silver for special occasions and company.
