You should probably have harvested this plant already. Look in an issue of High Times or do some research online to see if this is in fact a genus of cannabis in which the leaves are supposed to turn yellow. If not, salvage what you can.

Turning yellow and brittle or just yellow.... to check if the plant is still alive go to the base and very gently scrape through the outer layer with your fingernail, if you see brown the plant is dead if not it's holding on for dear life, I'd take what I could from it now before it's unusable, that would be a shame.!

So, this was just an experimental growth of a ditch weed, right?
And like the other guys told you, lack of water and nutrients will kill any green plant. Ya need to do some homework.
