I think God is going to end the world in a rain of fire and brimstone.....nah, too predictable. Seriously though, if something bad does happen, I am thinking it will be something orchestrated by someone else (namely terrorists) and maybe with the heightened security we can stop their plans from ever succeeding. Other wise, I wouldn't worry about it because these are the same people who predicted the world was going to end when the year 2000 and later on June 6th, 2006 came about and Y2k, were they not?

I am not quite sure, but it is definitely getting a lot of attention in the media, both online and on television and print.
UPDATE: It is August 22 and the world did not end.

I think people will finally, finally stop asking "what's going to happen on Aug. 22!" We all move on until the next time some idiot picks a date out of the hate, says it's the end and a bunch of dumb a s s e s start wondering if it might be true.

When it's the 22nd here in the US it'll already be the 23rd in the Middle East. That's the problem with end of the world predictions...time zones.

Well...I'll probably start my morning by picking blueberries... nothin' freaky about that. Then back-to-school shopping. same 'ol. Maybe swim a little, if its warm...Yes, i dunno about those weird fortune tellers, but my Aug.22 will be just another day of summer vacation. Of course, there will probably be some bombings in the East, like there always are, and then the psychics will all say,"See? We told you so!"
