I wonder why Bryan Singer went over to the WB to Superman Returns instead of doing X-Men 3. I know he wanted to do Superman Returns but why did Fox had to be bastards and not wait for him to finish and do X3 the way Singer wanted?

He wanted to do Superman Returns because he had wanted to direct a Superman movie for a long time....like a childhood sort of thing. There had been a lot of time already between X2 and X3, I guess they didn't want to delay it any longer. Personally, I think that X3 kind of sucked because they switched directors. A bit of the heart was left behind. I haven't seen Superman, but I am guessing it is better than X3.
