To all respondents - I am totally aware he is on holiday at the moment - I am a geek after all.......but holiday aside I am talking months since Tone was about!!!
Prescott is no longer in charge - I think Blair is too scared to officially push him becuase of what he knows - but Prescott is a greedy obnoxious man who will take for as long as he can as he has no self respect.

I can totally see where you are coming from on this. He doesn't seem to care about UK anymore. He needs to be reminded exactly where his loyalties lie.
Isn't it frustrating when people tell you the obvious in their answers. I mean for goodness sake, it was obvious from the question that you knew we did not have presidents etc.

He's on the vactaion that his job entitles him to... As with any job in the UK you are entitled to vacation time, even if your are the PM. John prescott is standing in for him but I think John Reid is doing most of the work. Unlike most other workers who tend to forget about their work while on vacation most senior polticians who go on vacation usually end up doing a lot of work while abroad via phone, email etc.
He was at the G8 conference representing the UK a few weeks ago... Along with all the other leaders of the G8.
