I have thought a lot about this scenario in recent years, and after taxes,......

I would pay off all bills of my parents and 4 children, buy each of my children a home and vehicle, and fund college accounts for my grandchildren.

I would then donate a percentage to our church scholarship fund (to send kids who can't afford it to camp) and benevolence fund (which helps people pay rent and utilties when there is a need), as well as to the Nat'l MS Society (for MS research), the American Cancer Society, and March of Dimes.

I would then pay off all of my own bills, buy myself and spouse a new house, and new vehicle each. I think I'd also like to take one long trip around the U.S.

The rest would be invested in such a way that we could comfortably live (without the need to have 'outside' jobs) on just the interest earned on the principal, without touching the principal, so the principal could be inherited by our children and grandchildren when we're gone.

I would first give about $2,000,000 to my brother and then let him figure out how he wanted to live. I would buy a house about 10000 square ft, and hire a cook, gardener and a personal trainer to loose about 100 lbs. I would travel all over the world and adopt about 4 children who are in foster care and need a family. I would donate to a couple of charity's and give to the less fortunate.

for me i would put it in different banks saving accounts to its maximum that they would give you intrest. then i would keep it in a swiss bank account then see what i would need to use the money on.

Some things i wouldnt do would be stuff like buy a million dollar house? A regular 1 story or 2 story house would be perfect. and i would just get a cool looking car and not spent it all on buying like 5 million dollar cars..

but before i did any of this i would use half of it to pay off my parents debts, and everyhting they own like house, car, credit debts. then id give them a fair amount and send them on a nice vacation.

also id use the money to use it on a nice family vacation. Ive always wanted to go to the atlantis resort so i guess ill use some money there.

i would also give money to my friends like 1k or 3k depending on how much i have.

id also invest it in good causes and then donate some of that money to a good charity that i have checked out.

also id give some money to my highschool and my university, enough so that i can get some building named after me and such.

other then that i dunno what id do with the rest of the money
